Light Writer’s Lab

Light Writer’s Lab is a vacation photography program that fosters creativity, visual literacy and personal vision for kids. Photography has the power to open up a whole new way of being in the world. It can become a tool for increasing confidence, for dealing with personal matters, and for creating, no matter where you are, every day.

Classes focus on the techniques and history of photography and visual culture, and photographic and writing assignments bring the theory to life in fun and challenging ways.

Light Writer’s have access to state of the art camera equipment, group studio time, guest artist visits and critiques, and each camp culminates with a group presentation and online exhibition for family and friends to celebrate the achievements of each student.
